Hi Everyone,
What a spell of weather we are having! Some great sunny and calm days. Where was this in June and July? It can certainly stay for as long as it wants!
It has been another busy day here at St Nicholas. The annual Arrol cup took place on Saturday followed by the Stableford competition on the Sunday. Some of the best golfers in the area come to play in the tournament with 36 holes being played on the day. The course is set up at its toughest all year with incredibly fast green and long rough. Harvey Broadfoot of Royal Troon took the spoils on the day with 2 brilliant rounds of 66 and 67 to win by 4 shots. A massive well done to David and all our greenkeepers for presenting the course in unbelievable condition on the day. Everyone who played were raving about the condition and very impressed with how good the course was.
Despite the fantastic weather we have had this week, the winter season is fast approaching and unfortunately this weather I unlikely to last. We have some amazing new product streaming into the shop over the next few months with a lot already arrived.
