With the ongoing changes set out by the Scottish Government, the club has had to issue its own restriction in order to comply with the instruction set out to keep everyone safe. It has been brought to our attention that some members have not been receiving emails from the club due to technical issues so we have outlined this information so that you are all up to date. · A maximum of two people from two separate households can meet outdoors for sport and exercise meaning that groups are now limited two balls. · Regrettably the travel guidance affecting our members who reside out-with South Ayrshire has not changed. · In view of the restriction in the number of members who will now be able to play ie an effective reduction of 50%, Committee has taken the decision to limit members to a maximum of two rounds (or part rounds) of golf per week starting immediately. · The tee time interval has been reduced to 7 minutes. · Members booking a time will have up until 12.00noon the following day to enter the second name at their tee slot after which the Starter will allocate unfilled slots to any member wishing to play, subject to the two-round maximum per week rule. ·Committee has also decided that with immediate effect no members' guests will be allowed until further notice. ·Following the latest guidance received from Scottish Golf, the toilets will remain closed for the remainder of January. Unfortunately, the absence of Clubhouse staff means that we cannot adequately supervise the use of the toilets nor carry out a cleaning regime which would conform with the Government public toilet guidelines. |
