Welcome to this week's newsletter, we hope you all had a good week, some of which was a little on the showery side at the start of the week. You have got to love summertime in Scotland. One day we are all out in shorts and polo shirts and the very next it’s full-on waterproofs and umbrellas out. A bit of a change now with having to wear masks in the Pro Shop as of tomorrow, so please get into the habit of bringing a mask along to the golf club with you when coming down for a game. We do still have masks available for purchase if you need one or two. It just seems like we get over one restriction to have another one imposed at the moment but fingers crossed things will be eased again soon. We have had a fantastic drop off new Under Armour logo product over the week, so please pop in or have a look at our Product Spotlight section this week.
Don’t forget about our ‘Trade-in’ day on Saturday, 18th July 10:00am - 2:00pm, tell your friends and bring along those old clubs that are sitting gathering dust. Have a great week, and enjoy the rest of this week's read. Gareth.

Club Trade-in Golf Day
Have you got old clubs or golf bags sitting in your garage or hut collecting dust? Turn them into shop credit by attending our first ever ‘Trade-in’ Golf Day. On Saturday, 18th July between 10:00am - 2:00pm, we will be hosting a ‘cash for clubs’ trade-in day. Bring any old clubs or golf bags along on the day and you will turn them into instant credit on your shop account. Tell your friends and get everyone involved. You do not have to be a member to attend. We will be set up in the car park and social distancing measures will be in place on the day to keep everyone safe.

The following updated Pro Shop Protocols will be in place as of Friday, 10th July. All will be reviewed along with government guidance, but the long and short is that I want to protect both my staff and you the customer when entering the Pro Shop. 1. You must enter the shop with a mask on. Please get into the habit of carrying a mask on your person. 2. Strict one in, one out policy.
(The door of the shop will be open at all times. If you pop your head in and there is already someone in the shop, please be patient and stand in the designated area outside the shop until you are able to enter.) 3. You will only be allowed into the shop if you sanitise your hands before entering the shop
(Sanitiser will be supplied at the entrance of the shop.) 4. Please keep a safe distance from all staff members.
(The shop will be set up with prices on all product and sizes clearly visible on hangers or clothing. If unsure then, by all means, ask a member of staff who will be able to help safely.) 5. Should you wish to purchase a pair of shoes and would like to try them on, please let us know before your round so that we can take the proper precautions for you returning after your round to try them on. For any purchases that require demonstration ie. trollies, demo equipment, this will take place outside the shop.
6. All confectionary will only be handled by my staff. They will collect what you require from the fridge and chocolate stand. (They will be sanitising after every transaction has taken place.) 7. Please respect fellow members and all staff. We are here to help and will get to you as soon as we possibly can. These are difficult times to run a small business on what is quite a small shop floor. I really appreciate your business and I know it is not going to be the same way of shopping with us for a while but please, please make an effort in popping in to support us.
