We have limited stock and once they are gone, they are gone. They normally retail for £37.99 per dozen so it’s a super deal at the moment. We also have a few limited dozen of the Titleist AVX ball that we are putting in the promotion this week. They are down to £38.99 per dozen or two dozen for £70. Wednesday and Saturday sweep With no competition golf set to be on the horizon, we thought that we would arrange something to get the competitive juices flowing again until we see some form of competitive golf return. We are going to run a Wednesday and Saturday sweep to give you all something to play for on Wednesday 24th and Saturday 27th June. It will be open to anyone playing on those two days, male or female. Entry is entirely voluntary. Ideally please let us know via email whether you will be taking part if you have a tee time booked that day or alternatively, we will be taking entries on the day. |
The competition rules will be set out as follows: • Entry will be £4 per player which will include two’s and sweep, entry of both will be compulsory. • Payment for entry will be accepted via cash (providing hand sanitiser is used prior to handling cash) or by contactless card payment. • All winnings will be paid onto your shop account if you either have a two or win. • The format will be stableford, full handicap. • ‘Gimmes’ will be allowed from strictly putter grip length. To help speed up play. • You will keep your own score and the score of your playing partner. No exchanging of scorecards. • Once you have completed your round you will verbally confirm your scores with each other. Again, no swapping or signing of cards. • Upon finishing the 18th hole and making sure that scores are correct, you will call them into the shop where a staff member will keep a record of scores and any twos. |
|
Please bear in mind that these two competitions will be purely to have a bit of fun and to remember what it was like with a scorecard in your hand again. So, what if you get a bad lie in an unraked bunker, your ball lips out due to the hole depths being shallower. Let’s all be thankful to be back out playing golf in what hopefully, will be reasonable weather. Dependant on their success and uptake, we may run more. |
Stay protected
Still a few anti-bacterial face masks in stock. They are re-useable, and they have anti-bacterial properties for up to 20 washes. Only £12 each or two for £20. Available in white and black. Please get in touch if you would like one or two set aside. |
It’s time to think of getting your clubs regripped if you feel they are starting to wear a little. How often should you change your grips you might ask? Well if they look anything like the examples it is DEFINITELY time for a change.
|
You will be amazed at what a new set of grips could do for your game. We have a great selection of grips available and we aim to turn your clubs around in 24-hours. Your clubs will feel brand new with a new set of decent grips on them. Speak to a member of staff who will help you choose the right grip for your individual needs. |
It happens to us all!
I plan to re-commence coaching over the next few weeks. This is subject to how everything is going. I am currently working through a backlog of custom fitting sessions to catch up to prior lockdown work and will be in touch with those who have asked to be on my coaching list ASAP. If you have not been in touch but would like me to give you a call to book you in. Please drop me an email on garethhardygolf.7@yahoo.com or call the shop on 01292 473904. |
In the meantime, does anyone know a decent coach they could recommend? I had my first game in 14 weeks on Monday evening with Jordan. +8 on the front 9 holes and -1 coming home. After my triple bogey on the 8th I was ready for putting the clubs away for the next 14 weeks hahahahahahaha. It does happen to us Pro’s as well… Click here to watch the video. |

Thank you once again for your patience. |
