Another busy week Once again we have had a busy week in the pro shop with new product landing, Gareth’s lesson diary being busy and playing some golf as well. This week we have taken delivery of some new Wilson Staff clothing to add to the range in store and also out new PowaKaddy GPS rental trollies have arrived in so if you forget your trolley one day consider hiring one them and see how their built in GPS systems can help you around the golf course. Gareth was holding the last of his ladies lesson clinics this week which by the sounds of things the ladies were able to take a lot from to get there swings ready for the new season stating so hopefully they can put everything that they learned into practice. If you missed these classes there will be more later in the year or if anyone is looking for lessons come in and book a slot while space are available. Most weeks now in the newsletter we mention the importance of custom fitting is to ensure that your clubs are right for. This week I was at Titleist fitting centre at Craigielaw Golf club which once again was an eye opener for me. My whole bag has actually changed by taking out two rescue clubs and replacing them with some new irons due to the recues spinning to much. This change has also allowed me to go from using three wedges to four which will take a bit of getting used to. This is something I wouldn’t have done without being fitted so the benefits of the extra wedge will hopefully help my short game. This week is also the start of Calum’s tournament playing season. His first event is at Carnoustie Golf Links so all the best to Calum in that event and for the rest of the season. Hopefully we’ll see many of you this week. Mark
