Hi folks,

Another poor weeks golfing weather with the exception of Saturday which allowed myself, Gareth and Calum to get out for a game with the 9 o’clock sweep. We all felt really bad about Jordan having to work, honestly!

It was great to get on the course in decent weather for the first time in a while which was made better by not needing about five layers on. Gareth and Calum both had good games but sadly my back nine didn’t match up to the weather as my game pretty much collapsed, proof that I need to get back practicing.

Do you know your yardages?

It’s really easy on the golf course even with distance watches or lasers to get into trouble due to poor club selections, if that’s from finding trouble over the green or not even reaching it in the first place. This year using our new FlightScope we will be offering Gapping Sessions where you can get all of your distances measured through your whole bag. We’ll provide a gapping tag to record all of your yardages on your bag for easy access on the course as part of the gapping session experience. No.

Note: Rule 16-1a prohibits touching the line of putt except in removal of loose impediments, repair of ball marks, etc.. Dew or frost is not a loose impediment and so brushing them away would be a breach of Rule 16-1a.
