After two weeks without a newsletter, we’re back and refreshed for what promises to be an exciting 2018. We are looking to make our content more relevant to you so keep an eye out over the coming weeks to find out how we’re going to go about achieving this – it’ll require some assistance from your end, but it’ll be worth it!

Back to the here and now, and in this week’s email we take a look at some of the most ridiculous moments from the PGA Tour in 2017 and we talk through your golfing goals for 2018. Enjoy the read.

Happy New Year! From all of us here in the shop, we hope you had a great festive period and we wish you all the best for the 2018 golfing season.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to put more effort and work into your game then you all know Gareth can give high quality lessons at a great price and with the building on the new bays and swing studio with FlightScope on the practice ground, that will be fully operational this month, there is now no excuse to getting out and getting some practice done. Simply pop into the shop and we will be able to help you out with booking at a time convenient to you.

As you all know, we are on hand at any time to help with any questions or queries you may have regarding anything golf and we will do our best to sort them for you.

Round up

The Christmas competition took place last Saturday with a good number of players coming down to brave the cold.

Gary Higham went home victorious in the last competition of 2017 with a total of 39 points, 1 point clear of Gordon Adams and Russell Whittaker in second place, both on 38 points.

Well done to all who played.

Junior equipment

We are now a Golphin kid’s equipment supplier. We have some demo sets in the shop and measuring devices to ensure your kids get measured up correctly. A lot of company’s do kids clubs according to age. This does not tie in with how tall or short you’re your children are. Getting them the wrong sized equipment could be detrimental in the child enjoying the game and progressing effectively.
