Hi Folks,
Another week of knee recovery down and the cabin fever truly has started to kick in. I am desperate to get back to work and hope to see you all again as of this coming Monday.
For those of you who attended the Burns Supper I hope you all had a good time and a few light refreshments as well.
The juniors had their 5 Hole Order of Merit on Sunday. They had a great day for it with good weather even if it was a bit on the cold side. We had a great turnout with 38 juniors playing. There were some fantastic scores this week with a tie for 1st place. Congratulations to Marcus Stewart, Duncan Jamieson and Ewan Allan with scores of 23. Well done boys!!!
The junior section would like to give a big thanks to Mr Neil Foggo for his donation this week, it is greatly appreciated.
If you are interested in helping out occasionally or sponsoring the junior section please get in touch.

Q. Garry and Sam are playing a match. Both players left the 17th green believing that Sam had won the match 2&1. However, they later realised that in fact Sam was only 1 up at that point. The matter was referred to the Committee. What is the ruling?
Find out next week.
Did you get the answer to last weeks rule?
Q. John and Steve are playing in a stroke play competition. John was playing his tee shot at the 6th hole. Unfortunately, during his back swing Steve accidentally dropped his golf ball and it rolled to within six inches of John's golf ball. The sudden appearance of Steve's ball distracted John and caused him to top the shot. Steve suggested that as this was abnormal situation, John should be allowed to replay his stroke. Is that the correct ruling?
A. No. Distractions are a common occurrence which players must accept. Rule 1-4, Decision 1-4/1.
