Congratulations to Alan Ireland who was the draw winner for my Brand Price Fit survey which took place in my first weekly newsletter.
There was a good response and Alan was the lucky man to be drawn.
He is the proud owner of a dozen of the new Callaway Supersoft golf balls.
Congratulations to John Errington and Jim Johnstone who both got hole in ones this past week. John had his first ever hole in one whilst playing the 10th hole with a perfectly stuck 4-hybrid.
Jim Johnstone also got a hole in one whilst playing the 12th hole with a well struck 9-iron. This contributed to the other two 2's he got during his round.
Congrats again to you both. I hope the bar bills weren't to excessive….
The new Callaway Fusion Driver and Fairway Woods will be landing this week. This driver has an MOI a whopping 17% more than Callaway’s XR16, so if you struggle to find fairways, this power packed option could be your saviour.
Callaway has used all the tricks in the book to design this club, including an ultra-lightweight crown and sole that save weight to boost forgiveness and an ultra-thin face that helps mishits launch powerfully.
For custom fitting on our FlightScope and trials of the demo driver please pop in to the Proshop, or contact us by clicking here.
The new PING G - Series woods have arrived in store. All custom fitting will take place with the use of the FlightScope Launch monitor.
Compared to the G30, the G fairways are longer and more forgiving, plus it has extra fitting options for us tap in to.
These powerful fairway woods don't sacrifice on forgiveness and come with lots of head and loft options.
Pop in a have a look if you grab a spare moment.
Weather permitting essential aeration work is scheduled to start on the greens from Wednesday, 28 September. This will consist of a heavy top dressing of sand and a solid tine using 10mm tines to a depth of approximately 220mm. Reasons for these works are mainly to help relieve compaction caused throughout the growing season, control moss and prevent surface water.
Temporary greens will be cut and be used throughout the winter months during frost and also when work is being carried out on the main greens.
The shop is now gearing up for the winter season with all winter products starting to arrive, from waterproof golf bags, winter gloves, winter tees and the new Smart Winter Mat.
A range of this seasons Sunice ladies Autum/Winter has landed in store for the winter season.
Pop into store and start changing your wardrobe over.
